Comme des Garçons SERPENTINE is a bespoke unisex fragrance inspired by the Serpentine Galleries, nestled within the historic parklands of London’s Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, yet surrounded by the pulse of the modern city. Designed in collaboration with artist Tracey Emin, the bottle and packaging reflect this unique fusion of nature and urban life.
The scent captures tender green notes of grass, leaves, and pollen—galbanum and iris leaf—interlaced with airy aldehydes and ozone, evoking the fresh breath of parkland. Contrasting this are the unmistakable aromas of London itself: the circulation of traffic, asphalt, and the subtle presence of pollution. Black musks and nutmeg mingle with warm labdanum and smoked cedar, creating a complex dialogue between nature and the cityscape.
SERPENTINE is a poetic homage to nature thriving within the metropolis—a fragrant reflection of a city’s living green heart.
