The Etna Suede by Veja presents a study in texture and ease, defined by its airy, open silhouette and a supremely soft suede upper in a warm ocre almond tone. As Veja's first sandal, the Etna pays homage to the brand's Brazilian roots, inviting a sense of exploration between city, nature, and adventure.
The suede is sourced from farms in Rio Grande do Sul, where the leather's underside is meticulously sanded to achieve a velvety hand feel and subtle, natural depth. Tanned in Brazil without harmful substances, the material is finished with PFC-free, water-repellent oils for protection against light elements. Inside, a matching suede lining continues the tactile experience, while the footbed blends bio-based and recycled E.V.A. for responsive comfort. The outsole is crafted from wild Amazonian rubber, mineral silica, and recycled rubber — a harmonious balance of conscious materiality and effortless, contemporary style. Made in Brazil.
